CO2 REDUCTION PROJECT

In 2017 Kering Eyewear started a Carbon Reduction Project with the aim to decrease the use of plastic water bottles in its offices. We began the project in our Italian headquarters and have now extended the project to our other global offices. We installed water dispensers or water filtration systems in our offices and have given each employee a customized Kering Eyewear stainless-steel water, which also has the employees name laser engraved on it.

Through this project we have been able to overall decrease our carbon production through the gradual elimination of plastic bottles.

When it came to choosing the bottles, it was important for us to work with a company that was sustainable which is why we chose 24bottles bottles which is Carbon Neutral. All CO2 emissions from production, transport and packaging are offset by reforestation projects in international urban areas.
